I picked Chinese General Guan Yu against Samurai Miyamoto Musashi what do you think about my matchup. I thought of this and I want to know if it would look great in Deadliest Warrior but I need your opinion on what you think of this match up and what weapons did both of these warriors have.

Interesting match up indeed. Most of what is known about Guan Yu has been fictionalized in the There kingdoms novel. The real Guan Yu actually was captured and executed when he was general. He was beheaded with his son and his enemies sent his head to Liu Bei. General Guan did lead to the fall of the Han dynasty, which at the time was larger and more powerful than the Roman empire. One on one I would have to give the advantage to Myamoto as he has more confirmed one on one battles including his first kill at 13. I believe Guan Yu had his first one on one kill in his early twenties and did not regularly duel like Musashi did. Plus, Myamoto's weapons would be from a far more advanced technology than Guan Yu's. We have seen time and time again in the deadliest warrior that the person who wields the better weapons usually wins.
