Lebanon was the homeland to the Phoenicians, who are not famous for their combat capabilities as much as their navigation of the seas. However, they were defeated and since then Lebanon has been ruled by the Persians, Assyrians, Hellenists, Romans, Eastern Romans, Arabs, Seljuks, Mamluks, Crusaders, Ottomans, and was a French Mandate before it finally became independent. So, yes, there were fearsome ancient warriors in Lebanon. They just weren't lebanese.Question on deadliest warrior show on spike?
