I think the Spetnaz won fair and square. Most people are all annoyed that they won but personally not me.The green berets werid tench shovel was one of the weirdest weapons I have ever seen. But, in the battlefield the Spetnaz would win if you think of tactics. Also it was a close fight so the green beret would win some times. It's just he didn't kill more times than the Spetnaz. It was only 7 kills that was the difference. I think if the green Beret did not bring the shovel and brought a knife it would have been a different fight. So many people are complaining about it. The computer program is great and everyone is not facing the truth. Boo hoo the Americans didn't win. I'm American and I'm not complaining. Nice episode though.
The makarov is a 9mm yes but its not a 9mm luger cartridge as such the pistol rating was skewed. The entrenchment tool took off a head. I have seen people stabbed and fight on but never without a head.

The GB used and M-4 with optic and was out shot by a Spetznas using an AK-74 with open sights. The shotguns should have run the same cours

personally, I do not think they tested it right.
I think that whole thing about seeing whose better between Spetsnaz and Green Berets should have been tested by those who actually know spec ops, instead of a black belt karate expert, a doctor , and a computer programmer.
Also, the part where they put the ballistic Knife against that army Shovel/blade thing was BOGUS!!!!
Although the knife shooting out seemed cool, ....if you miss, or only injure your target, then you are pretty mush dead.
The army weapon was much better, and what they did not show was that the army shovel/blade thing can actually be thrown like an ax almost.
I thought the whole match up was bogus.
also, although the spec ops guys were good, I think if they could of got active duty guys it would be more accurate, although their identities would probably be concealed.
The whole show was a joke the only way to know who is the better Special Operations Unit is for them to actually face each other in real combat. Army SF is the most highly trained Non Tier 1 Special Operations Unit in the United States Military. We have great training, better weapons and a more logical way of training them. Russians just torture there Special Operations Unit this may make them tough but you are supposed to be teaching them to be Operators not beating the Sh*t out of them. Also did you see the Spetsnaz guy rolling around and lying on his back shooting that was the most retarded thing I have ever seen. That could be what caused him to be so innacurate at shooting. My outcome would be the Spetsnaz would be more tolerant of pain and possibly better at h2h combat but SF would win in CQB obviously Sniping and just the better operator overall.
BS Spetsnaz have almost no combat experience and their training is nowhere near to ours (like I have said before, best technology= best training).
I didn't see it but there is no such thing as beating a group of Green Berets (I know one that said SEALs are way better especially in physical training, but he said he has never felt intimidated by a SEAL or anyone for that matter. He said he knows he can beat anyone he needs to, better training or not).
i think that since america lost, so many americans are pissed lol. there pride is too great. really, how hard is it to face the truth that spetsnaz are better?
besides, everyone was judging the spetsnaz and they knew nothing about them. you can't anticipate two sides when you only know about one.
overall i think spetsnaz are just more elite. they take training even american special forces disregarded because it's too cruel.

Like mentioned below the show uses flawed testing at times to get iffy results. I didn't like how they tested the shotguns and grenades in situations. What good does it do to test one shotgun on a single stationary pig and then test the other in a timed situation with multiple targets? If they had tested them on the same situations then you would know exactly how much faster or stronger each weapon was over the other. The same thing with the grenades.
They put too much emphasis on the pistol match up. The green beret missing the targets did not help. That probably skewed the results. Do not underestimate the Spetsnaz ask any Chechen terrorist what he thinks about them.
i watched it and i think that show is BS not just from this one but from the other ones before they seem to put to much judgement on what the 2 dudes say not on what actual combat is like
it wasnt fair...the Green Beret was more well known for saving people...not killing them...now if it were Spetsnaz vs SEALS or DELTA or MARINE RECON...then it would be fair
