Who will win tomorrow's Deadliest Warrior matchup? George Washington or Napoleon Bonaparte?

I STRONGLY believe that Napoleon would destroy George Washington. If George Washington would win is because of the bias in the show towards the United States. Does anyone agree with me or does anyone counter my opinion?Who will win tomorrow's Deadliest Warrior matchup? George Washington or Napoleon Bonaparte?
Napoleon Bonaparte, hands down. You only have to look at the moves Napoleon pulled at Ulm and Austerlitz.



Washington was a great leader, and good strategist, but in terms of tactics, he is nowhere near in the same league as Boney.
Any sane historian would say that Napoleon would crush Washington, as Washington was actually average at best as a military commander, while Napoleon was totally brilliant.

Many answerers forget that Napoleon didn't start as an Emperor. The first army he led (the French army of Italy) was ill-equipped and demoralized, and with it he annihilated much bigger forces and changed warfare forever. Note that he was barely 26 years old and inexperienced.

The armies he led after that were incredible, because he made them that way, nobody gave them to him.

I would say Napoleon. Washington wasn't all that good at winning battles. He won enough, but he wasn't the fearsome opponent that Napoleon was. Washington's success was in simply keeping the Continental Army intact when they nearly got wiped out so many times, until the British gave up continuing to spend the money to try to squash them.



On the other hand, Washington only had ragtag colonial militias to work with, haphazardly trained and poorly equipped, while Napoleon had the world's most advanced professional soldiery to lead. Maybe if they were given forces of equal quality it would have been a more even match than I imagine.Who will win tomorrow's Deadliest Warrior matchup? George Washington or Napoleon Bonaparte?
I think Napoleon will win, but only by a little. Why? Because Napoleon was more violent and had better resources. However, if it is a team on team battle, George Washington just might win because of his strategy. Remember, America was only supplied with the arms they could hand make or gather from the British. He also had poorly trained troops. Napoleon had a trained army, enough supplies, and fought well. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being prejudiced, because I am an American who lives in New York, so I think George Washington was amazing.
Napoleon didnt successfully defeat the spanish guerilla warfare he was in russia and it wasnt going too well the same could be said for george washington against Little Turtle. George was already losing he had to ask for french help. Napoleon can win on his own.
In a one on one battle, George Washington would win. But if they are leading troops, Napoleon would win due to more advanced weapons. The matchup shouldve been American Revolution soldier vs Napoleonic War soldier.
I agree with you, Napoleon was probably the greatest soldier who ever lived. He almost took over the world!
Washington would hand him his ***. George was a great warrior and well respected by his foes and friends alike. Washington was a great strategist. I think Washington would find a way to win in any situation and that Napoleon's Arrogance would be his ultimate undoing. We all know pride goes before a fall and Napoleon was not short on pride.
I honestly think GW will beat Napoleon. Not just because I'm an American, but because of Washington's strategies and his ability to be a strong leader even through the hard times way back. I guess we'll see the results tomorrow.
