How is the new Deadliest Warrior game?

I'd like answers from people who bought it and played the full thing. How does it play? Is it like tekken 6?How is the new Deadliest Warrior game?
It is a little frustrating at first, but it gets good after you "earn" more weapons in arcade mode for your warriors. some weapons that are used were not featured in the show. One thing that triped me out was how to use the special attacks, for example the pirate granado attack. it is not pressing b then y, it is pressing them at THE SAME TIME. Still, the combos are so much easier in this game then in mortal kombat. None of that, up up down down back down y a back jump punch kick bull sh^t, the combos are just up to like four buttons, and you don't have to worry about timing. Although, if you are injured in certain areas for example the arm or leg, you cannot use certain combos (personally, I like that, an actual challenge, not an MK challenge of your ability to mash buttons).

It is not necessarily accurate to the show, as the Apache warrior, I can devastate the Spartan or Centurion with just tomahawks make out of horse jawbone.

I think the game costs 400 ecksbawcks points so it is cheap.

There is copious gore and swearing on a part of the pirate ("you want some? F#ck you!!", "hope there aren't any ninjas to see this sh#t").

I don't know what tekken 6 is. Personally, due to it's relative cheapness, and it't online play, it is worth it.

My only complaint, they need to add more warriors. I want to be a freakin Aztec or Maori or Zande or something. Mayhap they will add more than the 8 they have now.
its really, cool, its like a more realistic mortal combat, with cool finishing kills, outfits, unlockables, etc., at first i wasnt sure to get it, i got the trial, the trial was ok, but the full game was way better, my advice, u should so get itHow is the new Deadliest Warrior game?

Nothing like Tekken actually, its trying to be more realistic so there are no crazy over the top moves. Plus for realism you can kill in 1 hit if its to the head or other major organs. You can also take out lims so they can not walk or dodge anymore, and in some modes you can cut them off. The difficulty isn't to bad as its easy enough to learn which moves and combos hit where, but its still pretty fun. Think Bushido blade if you ever played that game before, may be before your time though. Its kind of old



Each person feels different though which is very nice, they all have a short, medium, and long range weapon slot that you can use aswell as a speical weapon. There are multiples for each slot and multiple armor per group so there is a nice array. A example is the spartan, his short is a short sword, medium is his spear, long is a javalin, and special is his shield. Have yet to try online as I was just messing aroudn with the game so I can't commnet on that yet.



Fighting is solid though, very fun and very pleasing when you manage to kill a guy with 1 well placed shot. There are some possible balance issues as the ninja and spartan both just tear people apart but there are ways around it if you learn how to play the game. Still they do have a advantage, but then again that is the entire point of the game. What warrior is the best overall.



Ninja gets in close and messes you up with his fast combos and spartan can keep you away with the lance and just shield bash you if you get to close. Either is a pain in the *** to fight
