Are the two different sides actually getting mad at each other on the show deadliest warrior?

Whenever i watch deadliest warrior, it always seems that the people from both sides (for example, the Green Berets and the Spetsnaz), always seem to get pissed at each other, by making fun of each other and giving each other the middle finger. Are they seriously pissed at each other, or do the host people tell them to do that to make the show more interesting?Are the two different sides actually getting mad at each other on the show deadliest warrior?
I don't know but they seem like they are mad. If it is acting, then its pretty good acting right? I remember the Maori guy saying that the Shaolin monks were small and that they only won because the computer was probably Chinese. I also remember in the Yakuza vs Mafia episode. They were testing the baseball bat against the nunchaku AKA numchuks. The Yakuza guy said he was going to use the nunchaku to break the Mafia guys foot. i would hope they were just kidding or acting.
