I always play as the ninja, but it is up to the player's preferences. All the characters have their own strengths and weaknesses, just like the warriors would in real life. To use the finishing move you have to wait till the opponents health is very low and glowing. Then you hold the corresponding buttons together. The knight's mace I am not sure because I have not played as him yet. Also in the future they will be adding more characters to the roster as the show continues. So new better characters will come.
